Location :
Bakersfield, CA 93301 Qualifications Valid pharmacist license with active registration in the relevant jurisdiction. Prior experience in retail pharmacy settings; hospital or LTC pharmacy experience is highly desirable. Demonstrated clinical pharmacy experience with a focus on patient service and assessment. Knowledge of pharmacy software systems, EMR (Electronic Medical Records), and EHR platforms. Experience with compounding medications and aseptic techniques. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medication administration protocols. Additional training or residency in pharmacy practice is preferred; certification in immunizations is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management and documentation accuracy. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and team members. Responsibilities Dispense prescription medications accurately while verifying dosages, interactions, and contraindications using pharmacy software systems. Provide expert medication counseling to patients, including instructions on proper usage, potential side effects, and storage. Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate therapy plans and identify potential medication-related issues. Manage inventory levels efficiently, ensuring stock accuracy and proper storage of pharmaceuticals. CA02
