Supervisor Mail Order Pharmacist - Bakersfield, California

A full-time, onsite Pharmacy Supervisor position is available in an animal health compounding pharmacy located in Bakersfield, CA. This role involves leading and developing a team of pharmacists who specialize in producing high-quality compounded preparations, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and compliance with regulatory standards is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of pharmacists, setting clear productivity and quality goals Oversee daily compounding operations and workflow management Ensure adherence to USP standards, state regulations, and compliance requirements Maintain accurate training documentation and enforce proper compounding procedures Assist in drug selection for dispensing and compounding purposes Identify opportunities for process and formulation improvements Collaborate with pharmacy leadership and interdepartmental teams Maintain confidentiality and follow all company policies and federal/state laws Qualifications /

Desired Experience:

Current California Pharmacist license in good standing BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy 2+ years of management experience in a pharmacy laboratory setting 2-5 years of compounding pharmacy experience Strong knowledge of USP , , , State Board regulations, and 503A requirements Demonstrated leadership, communication, and mentoring skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 5:15

Bakersfield, California This direct hire opportunity offers a competitive base salary between $160,000 and $185,000 plus bonus eligibility based on experience, along with benefits eligibility.
