Job Description
Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire Deliver expert clinical pharmacy services in an infusion setting, focusing on chronic and acute infusion therapies. This full-time role requires a collaborative approach to patient care and pharmacy operations, ensuring high-quality service and optimal clinical outcomes.

Citrus Heights, CA Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; on-call every third weekendType:
Direct Hire Key Responsibilities:
Compound, dispense, and monitor clinical therapies prescribed by authorized medical personnel. Adhere to all local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations and accreditation standards. Provide direct supervision to pharmacy technicians and support staff, ensuring compliance. Collaborate with nursing, admissions, reimbursement, sales, and marketing teams to deliver efficient, patient-focused pharmacy services. Participate actively in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives. Assist in orientation and training of new pharmacy staff; may serve as a preceptor for pharmacy interns. Act as a clinical resource for Sales and Marketing, including assisting with presentations and reviewing marketing materials. Support procurement and inventory control in line with company procedures. Engage with the corporate clinical services team and contribute to product selection committees as needed. Ensure pharmacy dispensing complies with insurance authorization protocols and support reimbursement audit processes. Participate in on-call rotation to provide continuous pharmacy support. Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with state and federal reporting requirements for controlled substances. Demonstrate knowledge of USP 797 and USP 800 standards along with current State Board of Pharmacy regulations. Utilize CPR+ and CareTend systems effectively.Desired Experience:
Prior infusion pharmacy experience highly preferred. Specialty pharmacy experience considered. Strong commitment to high-touch patient care and pharmacy production excellence.
