The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, adherence to HIPAA regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively within a hospital environment. The Staff Pharmacist will utilize their expertise in pharmacy software and physiology knowledge to provide exceptional patient service and support critical care initiatives. Duties Review and interpret medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness. Prepare and dispense medications, including intravenous (IV) solutions, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Provide patient education on medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions. Administer immunizations as required and maintain accurate records in accordance with state regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans. Monitor patient outcomes and adjust medication therapies as necessary. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Utilize pharmacy software for inventory management, prescription processing, and record keeping. Participate in clinical rounds within the hospital setting to provide pharmaceutical care. Experience A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) degree from an accredited institution is required. Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is preferred, particularly in critical care environments. Proficiency in IV insertion techniques is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of physiology and pharmacology principles is essential for effective patient care. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams. Familiarity with pharmacy software systems to enhance operational efficiency.
