Contract (13+ weeks)

Schedule:

Two Pharmacists for day shifts, 4 ten-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM) Two Pharmacists for night shifts, rotating 7-on, 7-off schedule (9:00 PM to 7:30 AM)

Responsibilities:

Perform order verification to ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications Supervise pharmacy technicians and pharmacy operations to maintain workflow efficiency Consult with physicians and nursing staff on medication-related issues and patient care Apply pharmacokinetics principles in clinical dosing decisions Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for electronic medical records and medication management

Qualifications:

Current California Pharmacist license Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy experience Proficiency with Cerner and Omnicell systems preferred Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team This contract role starts immediately and is ideal for pharmacists who thrive in a hospital inpatient setting and can commit to one of the defined schedules.
