Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy services at a hospital setting near Hanford, CA. This position offers a contract engagement with an ASAP start and a duration of approximately 13 weeks or longer, providing valuable hands-on experience in hospital pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inpatient order verification to ensure safe and accurate medication dispensing. Supervise pharmacy technicians, guiding workflow and maintaining high standards. Manage pharmacokinetics monitoring and dose adjustments according to patient-specific needs. Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy for patients. Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
Active California pharmacist license. Previous inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred. Availability to work full-time with variable days, including afternoon shifts. Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Location:
Near Hanford, CA, serving a hospital setting in that region.
Schedule/Hours:
Variable days and afternoons to meet clinical demands. Full-time availability is preferred. This contract role offers the chance to contribute directly to patient care in an acute care environment.
