Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A full-time opportunity is available for a Compounding Pharmacist through July 2026, with potential for permanent placement. This role focuses on overseeing both sterile and non-sterile compounding operations, ensuring medication safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance in a clinical pharmacy setting.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding processes to meet quality standards Perform final verification of prescriptions before dispensing Fill, label, and prepackage medications accurately Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding orders, clarifications, and refills Provide counseling to patients and respond to medication-related inquiries Ensure compliance with USP standards (795, 797, 800) and Board of Pharmacy regulations
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM Full-time assignment through July 2026
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Active California Pharmacist license in good standing 3 to 5 years of pharmacy experience with a preference for compounding expertise Strong organizational skills and clear communication abilities to collaborate effectively with providers and patients
