Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract An outpatient oncology infusion pharmacy role is currently open at a prestigious medical campus offering a dynamic daytime schedule from Monday to Friday, with shifts varying between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. This position requires a minimum of two years of recent clinical experience in oncology infusion, ensuring candidates can confidently manage complex chemotherapy regimens and provide expert pharmaceutical care to oncology patients.
Key Qualifications:
At least 2 years of recent clinical oncology infusion pharmacy experience in an outpatient setting Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system Strong knowledge of chemotherapy protocols and cancer center pharmacy operations Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Primary Responsibilities:
Dispense and verify chemotherapy treatments and other oncology medications accurately Monitor patient therapy and provide clinical interventions as needed Counsel patients regarding their medication regimens and potential side effects Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards specific to oncology pharmacy This contract position is based at a well-regarded campus specializing in outpatient oncology infusion services, offering an opportunity to work in a leading cancer center environment. Candidates able to start promptly are preferred.
