Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist skilled in oncology and chemotherapy to support outpatient infusion services. This contract role centers on IV verification and requires a strong foundation in
USP 797/800
compliance with solid chemotherapy experience. The position is based in the Los Angeles area with multiple potential work sites throughout the metro area, offering a collaborative team environment within a respected health network.
Location:
Los Angeles metro area (various outpatient oncology infusion sites)
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Valid pharmacist licensure with clinical pharmacy background Solid chemotherapy and oncology infusion experience Strong IV medication preparation and verification skills In-depth knowledge of USP 797 and 800 sterile compounding standards Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system preferred Ability to work efficiently on day shifts in a fast-paced outpatient infusion setting
Responsibilities:
Review and verify chemotherapy and other IV medication orders Ensure compliance with
USP 797/800
standards and best practices in sterile compounding Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to optimize patient safety and treatment outcomes Support outpatient oncology infusion workflow with clinical expertise This contract assignment offers a dynamic role in a leading health organization focusing on cutting-edge oncology care.
