Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem A retail pharmacy is seeking a licensed Staff Pharmacist to support daily operations with a focus on quality patient care. This per diem position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment servicing approximately 60-70 prescriptions per day.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense medications in compliance with legal and professional standards Review prescriptions for appropriateness and potential drug interactions Counsel patients on medication use and answer questions regarding prescriptions Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and other staff members Maintain proper documentation and inventory control Uphold the pharmacy's policies and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications:

Active California Pharmacist License required Prior retail pharmacy experience preferred but not mandatory Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Ability to multitask effectively in a high-volume setting Familiarity with Datascan pharmacy system is a plus but not required

Monday through

Friday:

9 AM to 6

PM Saturday:

10 AM to 2 PM Flexible per diem hours based on pharmacy needs
