Pharmacist (saturdays)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing exceptional patient service, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Responsibilities Dispense medications accurately while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines. Provide medication counseling and education to patients regarding proper usage, side effects, and interactions. Administer immunizations as required, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Conduct medication therapy management and review patient medication regimens for safety and efficacy. Manage inventory effectively, ensuring adequate stock levels of medications and supplies. Maintain accurate records in pharmacy software systems, documenting all transactions and patient interactions. Stay updated on advancements in pharmacotherapy, clinical guidelines, and relevant anatomy knowledge. Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department. Experience A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) degree from an accredited institution is required. Bilingual Vietnamese speaker preferred. Previous experience at a large volume chain pharmacy preferred. Familiarity with Digitalrx software systems for managing prescriptions and inventory is essential. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service to enhance the overall healthcare experience.
