Clinical Pharmacist

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract We're partnering with a large, well-established public health system to bring on pharmacists interested in long-term stability and the potential for permanent placement. Retail pharmacists are absolutely encouraged to apply—this team is open to training the right candidate into the inpatient setting. Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and dispense medications in a hospital setting Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams Monitor patient therapies and provide clinical recommendations Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards Support medication safety initiatives and quality assurance efforts Provide drug information and patient counseling when needed Work Hours 8-hour shifts Must be flexible to work days, evenings, and occasional nights Primarily 1st and 2nd shifts Experience Retail pharmacists welcome Strong preference for candidates with: PGY1 residency OR ~2 years of recent inpatient experience Ability to transition into a hospital/clinical setting Willingness to commit to a long-term contract Education Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent required Licensure & Certifications Active California Pharmacist license required Must pass a one-time competency exam (required for onboarding)

Compensation Pay Range:
