Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem A dynamic opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist in a retail pharmacy setting located in Los Angeles, CA. This per diem position offers a flexible schedule within an efficient pharmacy environment processing approximately 60-70 prescriptions daily. The ideal candidate will hold a valid California pharmacy license and bring some pharmacy experience to ensure quality patient care and smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include:

Accurately dispensing prescription medications following all regulatory guidelines. Counseling patients on proper medication use, side effects, and storage. Collaborating closely with pharmacy technicians and other staff to maintain efficient workflow. Managing inventory and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Utilizing pharmacy systems, including Datascan (experience with this system is a plus but not required).

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday, 10:00 AM to 2:00

PM Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active California pharmacist license is required. Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a small team consisting of 1 pharmacist and 1 technician. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
