Key Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail Oversee and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure seamless pharmacy operations Consult regularly with nurses and physicians regarding medication management and patient care Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize drug therapy Utilize Allscripts/Paragon order entry systems and manage Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets efficiently

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

Current pharmacist licensure in good standing Experience with order verification and pharmacy technician oversight Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations within a multi-hospital system Knowledge of Allscripts/Paragon software and Pyxis systems preferred Strong communication skills to effectively consult healthcare teams
