Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility on the California Central Coast is seeking four qualified travel pharmacists for a 13+ week contract opportunity in the Los Osos area. This role offers candidates the chance to contribute clinical expertise in a dynamic inpatient setting with state-of-the-art systems. Two pharmacists are needed for day shifts, working four 10-hour days per week from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. In addition, two pharmacists are needed for night shifts on a 7-on, 7-off schedule from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Applicants must specify their availability for day or night schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow Consult directly with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapy Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring Utilize clinical information systems including Cerner and Omnicell Qualifications /

Desired Experience:

Current pharmacist license in the state of California Minimum of one year of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell pharmacy systems is preferred
