Pharmacy Clerk

We are seeking empathetic individuals who are driven to enhance the quality of care provided to patients at a pharmacy whose clientele include the underserved and underinsured. You would playing a vital role in assisting the pharmacist in providing an exceptional patient experience and ensure the efficient operation of our pharmacy. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Accurately and efficiently transcribing, and processing prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist. Assist in the dispensing and distribution of medications Model and deliver exceptional customer service to patients and members of the medical community, cultivating a strong, positive working-relationship on behalf of the pharmacy Aid the pharmacist in inventory and business supply management Maintenance of pharmacy records Must be able to perform the essential functions of a pharmacy clerk with or without reasonable accommodation. Reconciliation of billing from third party payers Any other duties related to the practice of pharmacy as deemed necessary by the pharmacist Requirements High School Diploma/GED. Working knowledge of brand/generics, strength and dosage forms Ability to read, understand and transcribe pharmaceutical and prescription information Ability to become proficient in learning

Starting Pay:

$18-20 / hr
