Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem This per diem pharmacist opportunity provides valuable experience in a health clinic setting, supporting a specialty pharmacy that serves a vulnerable patient population. The role involves typical retail pharmacy duties complemented by supervisory responsibilities over pharmacy technicians. Candidates should bring recent retail pharmacy experience and demonstrate patience and open-mindedness when working with diverse patient needs.
Responsibilities:
Conduct daily pharmacy operations and dispense medications accurately Supervise and coordinate pharmacy technicians to ensure compliance and efficiency Provide compassionate patient counseling tailored to diverse and vulnerable populations Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to clinic policies and pharmacy regulations Utilize the New Leaf pharmacy system to manage prescriptions and inventory effectively
Desired Experience:
Recent retail pharmacy experience showcasing strong clinical knowledge and patient interaction Familiarity with pharmacy workflows and technician supervision Ability to work effectively in a health clinic environment serving underserved communities Comfortable using New Leaf pharmacy software or similar systems Demonstrated empathy and cultural sensitivity with diverse patient populations
