Responsibilities:

Manage medication therapy for inpatients in a busy hospital setting. Collaborate with medical teams to optimize pharmacological treatments. Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and safety. Provide drug information and clinical recommendations to healthcare staff. Participate in medication utilization reviews and policy development. Adapt to variable shifts including swing shifts, weekends, and holidays as assigned.

Qualifications:

Active California Pharmacist License required. Previous hospital pharmacy experience is strongly preferred. Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records is advantageous; training is available. Ability to work full-time hours, primarily four 10-hour shifts per week, with flexibility to accommodate varying schedules. Strong communication skills and attention to detail in clinical settings.
