Oxnard, CA (Ventura County)

Schedule:

Full-time hours 8-hour and 10-hour shifts depending on location Variable shifts including swing shifts Every other weekend and holiday coverage required

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately and efficiently across three pharmacy sites Manage hazardous medications, including compounding chemotherapy agents, following safety protocols Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes Adapt to shifting work environments across locations: medical center, hospital, and infusion center Utilize pharmacy software systems; Cerner experience is preferred, training is available

Desired Qualifications:

Active and valid pharmacist license Experience as a Staff Pharmacist in hospital or infusion pharmacy settings Strong knowledge of hazardous drug handling, including chemotherapy compounding Willingness to travel among the three pharmacy locations Flexibility to work variable shifts, including swing shifts, weekends, and holidays Familiarity with Cerner pharmacy information systems is a plus, but not required This contract role demands adaptability and dedication to maintaining high-quality pharmaceutical care within a multi-site healthcare system.
