Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A full-time pharmacist opportunity is available within a multi-site healthcare system serving Ventura County. This role requires flexibility to float among three pharmacy locations: the main medical center, a hospital, and an infusion center pharmacy. You'll provide critical pharmaceutical services across diverse settings, contributing to patient care by managing medication distribution, including hazardous drug compounding.

Responsibilities:

Dispense pharmaceuticals accurately and safely across three facilities Manage medication therapies, including chemotherapy compounding Adapt to varying shift lengths and schedules (8- and 10-hour shifts), including swing shifts, alternating weekends, and holidays Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication use Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and pharmacy protocols Utilize or learn Cerner pharmacy systems for medication management

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Licensed pharmacist with proven experience in hospital or healthcare pharmacy settings Comfortable with hazardous medication handling and chemotherapy compounding Ability and willingness to travel between multiple pharmacy sites within Ventura County Flexibility in working various shifts and weekends Experience with Cerner pharmacy software preferred but not mandatory; training provided Local candidates preferred due to multiple locations involved

Schedule:

Full-time, variable shifts including 8- and 10-hour schedules Swing shifts, every other weekend, and holiday coverage expected This contract role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a variety of patient populations and pharmacy services.
