Resident Pharmacist

The Resident Pharmacist is responsible to perform clinical, supervisory and educational functions as necessary to support the overall patient care provided by Medication Management Services. The Resident Pharmacist will also perform special projects that develop and/or enhance department services, professional practice, or educational programs. The Resident Pharmacist will work to further develop their own personal professional and clinical skills in accordance with ASHP residency program guidelines. Professional Duties Understands and follows Customer Service Policies and Procedures. Maintains member confidentiality at all times. Supports Medication Management staff (clinical and technical staff) in their efforts to ensure that patients receive the most benefit from their medication therapy. The Resident Pharmacist will assist in the management of patients with anticoagulation therapy and Hepatitis C. Provide comprehensive medication therapy consults. Complies with accepted professional standards and principles. Serve as an ambassador for Desert Oasis Healthcare and Family Hospice Care at all times and positively shape the customer experience Introduce self and your role Be knowledgeable about your job so that you can serve others effectively Do your share. Current California Pharmacy license within 6 months of hire. Completion of accredited program. Basic computer skills required. BLS required within 60 days of hire. Demonstrates excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills. Skills directly applicable to the achievement of responsibilities. Valid California Driver's License and proof of insurance.
