This pharmacy position is based in Palo Alto, California, a vibrant city in the heart of Silicon Valley. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week on an evening schedule, generally 6:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. The schedule is designed to support continuity of care during high-need hours and requires consistent reliability during evenings. There is no on-call requirement, which helps provide predictable off-duty time. Overtime may be available as operational needs arise. A typical shift may include verifying medication orders, preparing and checking both routine and stat medications, supporting sterile compounding and IV preparation, and ensuring timely delivery of medications to patient care areas. The pharmacist will support safe medication-use processes, address medication-related questions from providers and nurses, and participate in resolving medication access or distribution issues. Work may span inpatient, outpatient, or mixed settings depending on the facility's structure and needs.
