Job Description
The pharmacist must be a graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy and be in possession of a current California Pharmacist License that is in good standing. The pharmacist will oversee technicians to ensure the needs of patients are met. He/she will act as the major source of drug information for the patients and other healthcare professionals. Therefore, the pharmacist must communicate both verbally and written in a logical manner. Furthermore, the pharmacist must be able to assemble, troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment. In addition, the pharmacist must follow all corporate policies in order to comply with state and federal regulations. The pharmacist must possess the ability to work calmly and maintain a positive atmosphere even under stressful conditions. Finally, the pharmacist will be expected to perform basic math functions essential to the practice of pharmacy as well as think critically, organize and prioritize his workload, problem solve and pay close attention to detail.
