Pharmacist I - Casual Status - Scripps Green Scripps Health United States, California, La Jolla May 13, 2026 Description This is a Casual status also known as Per Diem position at Scripps Green Hospital. The shifts are 10.25 hours and vary depending on the shift scheduled but could start as early as 0600 or as late as 1030. Also some weekends, evenings and holidays are needed. The pharmacy team is composed of highly skilled and knowledgeable pharmacist and technicians that are patient focused.

Responsibilities include:
Primarily operation focused centrally based; participates in direct patient care as clinical competencies are approved and on approved shifts. Documents the care provided to patients. Supervises the drug distribution operation: responsible for assuring safe and effective alternatives as appropriate. Contributes to the accomplishment of initiatives to improve the cost-effectiveness of drug therapy. Routinely communicates with physicians, nurses and patients regarding drug therapy. Demonstrates ability to provide age-specific patient care as established for area and job title. Demonstrates ability to perform competencies and prescription authorities as approved by the medical staff.Qualifications Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
BS Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
Degree Required Certification/Registration:
California Pharmacist License AHA BLS ACLS certification required prior to being trained to respond to codes, can be obtained within 6 months of hirePreferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
• PGY1 residency or 3 years' experience in relevant practice area.Job :
