Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist with oncology specialization to support their outpatient oncology infusion services at the Santa Monica Campus. This contract position offers the opportunity to engage in specialized cancer center pharmacy care with a focus on clinical infusion treatments.
Location:
Santa Monica Campus Schedule:
Monday through Friday Variable shift hours between 7:00 AM and 6:00
PM Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical pharmacy services in the outpatient oncology infusion setting. Ensure safe and effective chemotherapy and cancer treatment preparation and administration. Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care plans. Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation and workflow management.
Qualifications and Experience:
At least 2 years of recent clinical experience in outpatient oncology infusion pharmacy. Proficiency in Epic is required. Strong knowledge of chemotherapy protocols and cancer center pharmacy operations. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. This role is ideal for pharmacists seeking to leverage their oncology expertise in a focused outpatient infusion environment. The contract duration is for 13 weeks or more, with a start date as soon as possible.
