Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A Pharmacist opportunity is available in an LTAC/Rehab hospital setting in downtown Los Angeles, near Dodger Stadium. This role focuses on providing pharmaceutical care to patients, many of whom are on ventilators, making for a dynamic and impactful work environment.
Schedule:
4 days per week, 10-hour day shifts Potential Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday (TTH) schedule
Key Responsibilities:
Perform order verification ensuring accuracy and safety Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow Collaborate and consult with physicians on medication-related issues Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient therapy
Qualifications:
Valid California Pharmacist license Experience in an inpatient clinical setting, preferably involving critical care or ventilated patients Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment Local candidates preferred for faster onboarding and accessibility This position is contract-based with a month-to-month duration, offering flexibility for those seeking short-term assignments with the possibility of extension. Immediate availability beginning the week of June 1st is highly desired.
