Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver exceptional patient care. The PIC will be responsible for managing pharmacy staff, maintaining compliance with California state and federal regulations, and supporting the growth and performance of the pharmacy. Key Responsibilities Oversee all pharmacy operations in compliance with California Board of Pharmacy and federal regulations Ensure accurate dispensing, labeling, and verification of prescriptions Maintain proper inventory management, including controlled substances and recordkeeping Supervise, train, and support pharmacists, technicians, and pharmacy staff Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards Manage third-party billing, audits, and insurance claims resolution Implement and enforce pharmacy policies and procedures Provide patient counseling and clinical services as needed Ensure proper storage, handling, and documentation of medications Act as primary contact for regulatory agencies, audits, and inspections Monitor and improve pharmacy workflow, efficiency, and customer service Support business development initiatives and improve pharmacy performance Qualifications Active and unrestricted California Pharmacist License Previous experience as PIC or pharmacy leadership role preferred Strong knowledge of California pharmacy laws and regulations Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience with pharmacy management systems and insurance billing Preferred Qualifications Experience in long-term care, specialty, or independent pharmacy Strong background in compliance, audits, and inventory control Immunization certification (preferred but not required) Ok for Probation background candidates Work Schedule Full-time position

Pay:

$70.00 - $74.00 per hour
