40 Hours Guaranteed Auto Offer Assignment EPIC Experience Required Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and clinically focused Travel Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations . This role is ideal for pharmacists who thrive in fast-paced hospital environments, possess strong clinical judgment, and are passionate about patient safety and medication optimization. The pharmacist will verify and dispense medication orders, monitor medication therapies, collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, identify medication safety concerns, and supervise pharmacy support personnel. This is an auto-offer assignment for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities:
Verify, process, and distribute medication orders accurately and efficiently Monitor patient medication therapies for safety and effectiveness Identify drug interactions, contraindications, allergies, and therapeutic duplications Provide clinical drug information and recommendations to healthcare providers Participate in medication utilization reviews and quality assurance initiatives Support regulatory compliance and accreditation standards Collaborate with pharmacy leadership on formulary management and cost savings initiatives Participate in clinical rounds and medication management programs Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and staff EMR System Cerner EPIC experience
REQUIRED
Qualifications Required Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy EPIC experience Ability to work variable shifts and weekend rotation Preferred PharmD Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience Clinical pharmacy experience IV compounding experience
