This position starts part-time with the opportunity to grow into full-time based on workload and performance. It's a strong fit for a pharmacist who wants flexibility now with room to expand their role over time. Responsibilities Review, verify, and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, interactions, and side effects Ensure compliance with California State Board of Pharmacy and federal regulations Oversee and support pharmacy technicians and support staff Manage inventory, ordering, and proper drug storage Collaborate with prescribers and healthcare providers to resolve medication issues Maintain accurate records and documentation Qualifications Active California Pharmacist license in good standing (required) Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules Prior retail or medical pharmacy experience preferred What We Offer Competitive pay of $50-$75/hour based on experience 401(k) with employer matching Paid time off (PTO) Flexible scheduling with a clear path to full-time Supportive, team-oriented work environment Opportunity to grow with a respected local pharmacy Schedule Hours vary based on business needs; flexibility is a plus.
