This role requires versatility and adaptability, floating among three distinct pharmacy locations within the system: the main medical center pharmacy, a hospital pharmacy, and an infusion center pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately and safely across all assigned pharmacy locations. Manage and prepare hazardous medications, including compounding chemotherapy treatments, following strict safety protocols. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Utilize pharmacy software to process prescriptions; experience with Cerner is preferred but training is provided. Work varied shifts including 8- and 10-hour shifts, swing shifts, every other weekend coverage, and holidays as needed. Maintain compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Licensed pharmacist in good standing. Prior experience in hospital or medical center pharmacy environments. Comfort with fluctuating work locations and schedules. Ability to safely handle and compound hazardous medications. Familiarity with electronic medical records, preferable Cerner. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Local candidates preferred to facilitate travel between sites.

Based in Ventura County, CA, with travel required among three pharmacy sites within the system. Full-time hours with a combination of 8- and 10-hour shifts.
