Staff Pharmacist

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A pharmacist position is available serving a healthcare system with three pharmacy locations, including a medical center, hospital, and infusion center. This full-time role involves floating between these sites to provide comprehensive pharmacy services across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately and safely, including hazardous drugs such as chemotherapy agents Float between three pharmacy locations as needed, adapting to different workflows and environments Work varied shifts including 8- and 10-hour shifts, swing shifts, every other weekend coverage, and holidays Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal medication management and patient care Utilize pharmacy information systems; experience with Cerner preferred but training is available

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Licensed pharmacist in good standing Comfort and experience with handling hazardous medications and compounding chemotherapy Flexibility to travel and work across multiple pharmacy sites within the healthcare system Experience with Cerner electronic health record system is a plus Prior experience in hospital or infusion center pharmacy settings preferred

Ventura County, CA area; local candidates preferred due to the need to travel among sites
