Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy services in Visalia, CA. This contract position offers an ASAP start and a duration of approximately 13 weeks. The role involves critical responsibilities focused on inpatient care, including order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, pharmacokinetic monitoring, and other clinical pharmacy duties.
Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff Conduct pharmacokinetic assessments Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy Participate in clinical rounds and contribute to inpatient medication management
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid California Pharmacist license required Previous inpatient pharmacy experience preferred Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail Ability to work full-time with variable day and afternoon shifts
