Pharmacist

Travel or Local Pharmacist - Wray, Colorado (Direct Hire) An exciting opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to join a retail pharmacy team in Wray, Colorado. This direct hire position offers a stable Monday through Friday schedule with day shifts only. The ideal candidate will have recent retail pharmacy experience and a strong commitment to patient care in a community-focused environment.

Wray, Colorado Job Duties:

Provide pharmaceutical care to patients of all ages, from newborns to elderly patients Supervise pharmacy staff including pharmacy technicians and billing clerks Monitor and review patient medication profiles for accuracy Identify drug allergies, drug interactions, duplicate therapies, and ensure rational drug therapy Support and follow retail pharmacy policies and procedures Maintain quality control standards and controlled substance security procedures Ensure proper hazardous waste disposal compliance Participate in 340B program initiatives, antibiotic stewardship, and pharmacy-related meetings Stay current with pharmacy best practices through continuing education and professional development

Requirements:

Active Colorado Pharmacist License in good standing 1+ years of pharmacist experience Recent retail pharmacy experience required 340B experience preferred Willingness to relocate or stay in Wray for the assignment Supervisory experience preferred
