Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire A Community Hospital has an opening for a Retail Staff Pharmacist to support its newly acquired community pharmacy in Eastern Colorado . This is an excellent opportunity to step into a stable, patient-focused environment while playing a key role in shaping pharmacy operations. Responsibilities Provide pharmaceutical care to patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and billing personnel Review and verify patient profiles for accuracy, including allergies, interactions, and therapy appropriateness Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Maintain proper handling, storage, and security of medications, including controlled substances Participate in 340B program operations, antibiotic stewardship, and pharmacy-related committees Support quality assurance initiatives and safe medication practices Qualifications Active Colorado Pharmacist License (clear, no negative history) 1+ year of pharmacist experience Retail pharmacy experience required 340B experience preferred Willingness to relocate or commute to Wray, CO Supervisory experience preferred Skills Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment Effective leadership and team management abilities Excellent communication and patient counseling skills Ability to work independently in a community setting Work Hours Monday - Friday Day Shift 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week Compensation $132,000 - $175,000 annually (based on experience) $10,000 sign-on bonus $5,000 relocation assistance Benefits Multiple medical insurance options Fully funded Health Savings Account (employee-only coverage) Dental and vision insurance 3.5% employer retirement match Paid time off, holidays, and illness leave Education assistance program Employer-paid life insurance Wellness and incentive programs Discounted access to local recreation center Community Highlights Wray offers a welcoming small-town atmosphere with excellent schools, parks, recreational activities, and community events.
