Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire A full-time Staff Pharmacist position is available at a newly acquired independent pharmacy in a small community setting. This direct hire opportunity offers a stable Monday through Friday day shift schedule with 8-hour shifts, ideal for a pharmacist seeking to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to the elderly.

Responsibilities:

Deliver pharmaceutical care and medication management for patients of all ages. Supervise pharmacy personnel including pharmacy technicians and billing clerks. Monitor and ensure accuracy of patient profiles regarding drug allergies, interactions, and therapies. Uphold pharmacy policies and procedures, maintaining quality control and security, particularly with controlled substances and hazardous waste disposal. Participate in pharmacy-related programs such as 340B, antibiotic stewardship, pharmacy and therapeutics meetings. Stay current with industry trends and continuing education to maintain professional competence.

Desired Qualifications:

Active Colorado pharmacist license in good standing with no disciplinary history. Minimum of one year of pharmacy experience with a background in retail pharmacy. Familiarity with 340B program preferred. Supervisory experience is preferred. Willingness to relocate and remain in the community.
