Job Description
Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role requires a proactive pharmacist to provide expert medication management, supervise technicians, and collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff across multiple locations.
Responsibilities include:
Verifying medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth daily operations Managing pharmacokinetics and dosing adjustments for individual patients Consulting with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize therapy Floating between two hospital sites, spending approximately three days per week at one facility and one to two days at another, with flexibility as business needs evolveQualifications:
Current Colorado pharmacist license Minimum of three years of pharmacy experience, preferably including hospital/inpatient pharmacy settings Strong communication and clinical consulting skills Ability to adapt to a floating schedule and work collaboratively across teamsSchedule and Location:
Day shift with 10-hour weekday shifts and 6-hour weekend shifts Approximately 36 to 40 hours per week Role requires flexibility to work at two locations near Denver, Colorado This 13-week contract assignment offers an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking to apply their skills in a fast-paced clinical environment with varied daily responsibilities.
