Part-Time Pharmacist Independent Community Pharmacy

Danbury Pharmacy is an independent community pharmacy dedicated to providing friendly, professional, and personalized care to our patients. We are looking for a reliable and caring Part-Time Pharmacist to join our team.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a licensed pharmacist who is professional, dependable, and comfortable working in a busy community pharmacy setting. The pharmacist will be responsible for prescription verification, patient counseling, medication safety, and supporting daily pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities:

Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and safety Counsel patients on medications, side effects, and proper use Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff Communicate with prescribers and insurance companies when needed Provide excellent customer service to patients Assist with immunizations if certified Maintain accurate records and follow pharmacy policies and procedures

Requirements:

Active Connecticut Pharmacist License required Retail/community pharmacy experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented Ability to work independently and as part of a team Immunization certification preferred

Schedule:

Part-time position. Schedule can be discussed and may include weekdays and/or weekends.
