• Staff Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem A retail-specialty pharmacy in Waterbury, CT is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide vacation coverage with a structured training period.

This opportunity offers a manageable workload in a low-volume pharmacy focused on respiratory medications, allowing for a steady pace and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

Accurately fill and verify approximately 12 prescriptions per day Operate independently without technician support Provide thorough patient counseling and ensure excellent customer service Efficiently manage workflow in a retail-specialty pharmacy environment Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations

Qualifications:

Active Connecticut Pharmacist license in good standing Recent retail or specialty pharmacy experience preferred Experience with QS1 pharmacy system preferred; training available if needed Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and patient care skills

Schedule and Location:

Assignment dates: May 31

• June 10 Training required from May 26
• May 29 if QS1 experience is lacking Shift options: 10:00 AM
• 4:00 PM or 11:00 AM
• 3:00 PM Per Diem schedule covering vacation shifts Position located in Waterbury, Connecticut This per diem opportunity allows you to showcase your pharmacy skills in an independent, focused setting with a well-defined training period.

The role emphasizes patient interaction and accuracy in a specialty respiratory pharmacy.
