Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire A Specialty Compounding Pharmacy is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to support both sterile and non-sterile production departments. This role plays a critical part in ensuring all compounded pharmaceutical preparations meet rigorous state and federal compliance standards. Working under the guidance of the Pharmacy Supervisor, you will help maintain patient safety and accuracy through precise compounding practices and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and verify the accuracy of compounded sterile and non-sterile preparations using master formula worksheets Implement and enforce SOPs and policies in compliance with USP , , and standards Ensure proper cleaning and garbing according to company policies Perform calculations and maintain thorough documentation Operate and oversee production equipment, ensuring aseptic techniques Prepare and sanitize work areas prior to production runs Conduct quality control tests and inspections to verify medication quality, purity, and potency Stay current on new compounding techniques, formulations, and technologies Provide patient counseling on compounded, prescription, and OTC medications as needed
Qualifications:
Active PA Pharmacist license required Recent pharmacy experience with a background in sterile compounding New graduates with relevant training are encouraged to apply
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with shifts available from 8:00am-4:30pm, 9:00am-5:30pm, or 10:30am-7:00pm
