This individual will serve as the primary pharmacist on-site, ensuring safe and compliant medication dispensing, exceptional patient care, and adherence to all state and federal pharmacy regulations. The ideal candidate combines strong clinical expertise with leadership capabilities and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role requires a pharmacist who can effectively manage workflow, supervise staff, maintain regulatory compliance, and ensure a superior patient experience. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations, workflow, and prescription fulfillment activities Supervise and provide direction to part-time Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians Ensure accurate dispensing, verification, and counseling of prescription medications Maintain compliance with all Florida Board of Pharmacy regulations, DEA requirements, HIPAA standards, and company policies Review prescriptions for appropriateness, drug interactions, contraindications, and dosing accuracy Provide medication counseling and education to patients and caregivers Monitor inventory levels, controlled substances, medication storage, and ordering processes Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures to ensure patient safety and operational excellence Resolve escalated patient concerns and collaborate with healthcare providers regarding medication therapy Train, mentor, and evaluate pharmacy staff while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment Support operational improvements, workflow optimization, and pharmacy performance initiatives Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of pharmacy records and reporting requirements

Required Qualifications:

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Active Florida Pharmacist license in good standing Minimum 3+ years of pharmacy experience in retail, specialty, compounding, long-term care, or outpatient settings Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, medication management, and patient counseling practices Experience supervising Pharmacy Technicians and/or other Pharmacists Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience overseeing multiple pharmacy staff members and managing daily operations Immunization certification Medication Therapy Management (MTM) experience Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and electronic health record platforms

Pay:

$50.00 - $100.00 per hour
