Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A leading compounding pharmacy in Tampa, FL, is seeking two skilled Clinical Pharmacists for contract roles to support their specialized compounding operations. This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists with recent sterile compounding experience who are ready to step into a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.
Location:
Tampa, FL Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM - 7:00
PM Workweek:
4-5 days/week
Duration:
Week-to-week contracts with potential extension (recent temps have worked 3-4 months)
Setting:
Compounding Pharmacy Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and dispense compounded sterile preparations with accuracy and adherence to safety protocols Maintain strict compliance with USP and state regulations governing sterile compounding Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure quality and precision in medication formulation Monitor inventory of compounding supplies and ensure proper documentation Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Florida pharmacist license (required) Minimum of 1 year recent experience specifically in sterile compounding pharmacy practice (essential) Strong knowledge of compounding standards and pharmacy best practices Detail-oriented and able to work independently while maintaining high safety standards Excellent communication skills to coordinate with healthcare teams This contract role offers the chance to work within a specialized pharmacy setting where clinical expertise is highly valued. The position requires consistent reliability and technical proficiency to ensure the safe delivery of compounded medications.
