Job description: Operations Technician (FULL TIME)
Company Description:
Darmerica is an FDA registered and Florida Board of Pharmacy licensed distributor for compounding pharmacies throughout the 50 States. We supply a full line of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), nutraceuticals, peptides, cosmetic ingredients, natural herbal extracts as well as specialty excipients.Responsibilities:
- Handle shipping and receiving as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the FDA current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP) regulations after on-job training
- Perform reviewing Darmerica product labels, COAs & SDS for accuracy and relabeling & repacking of all incoming products
- Be able to stand for long periods of time performing repacking of products in clean rooms as per SOPs
- Place products in the designated area for Quality Unit release after relabeling and repacking
- Complete all necessary forms and logbooks
- Clean work station areas and equipments as per SOPs
- Maintain weekly inventory of Repacking and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) supplies
- Conduct periodic inventory reconciliation & administration as needed
- Must be familiar with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Other duties as assigned (after training)
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be a Permanent Resident (with a Green Card) or US Citizen.
- Minimum of 1 year working experience preferred in the pharmaceutical, compounding pharmacy, food, or cosmetic, or nutraceutical industries
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with MS Excel and Word with strong keyboarding skills
- Able to work effectively in a friendly team environment
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong time management and prioritization skills with ability to multi-task
- Must be familiar with
GMP and GDP Education:
a minimum Bachelor's Degree from a University (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, Biology, etc. an asset)Salary Range:
$48,000 - $55,000 per year based on experience, salary can be adjusted after probation based on performance. Employee bonus plan up to 10% annual performance bonus, prorated quarterly payout after completing probation.Benefits:
