Home Infusion Pharmacist Job Description The Home Infusion Pharmacist is responsible for the safe preparation, verification, and clinical oversight of sterile intravenous (IV) medications provided to patients in the home setting. This role requires strong experience with IV therapies, sterile compounding, and clinical collaboration to ensure high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered care across Florida. The ideal candidate has prior home infusion or IV compounding experience and is comfortable working in accordance with USP and , Florida Board of Pharmacy regulations, and accreditation standards. Responsibilities Prepare and verify sterile intravenous (IV) medications for home infusion patients. Provide clinical oversight to ensure high-quality and compliant patient care. Collaborate with nurses, providers, and operations teams to deliver patient-centered care. Manage and review IV therapy orders, including antibiotics, hydration, and specialty infusions. Adhere to USP and standards and Florida Board of Pharmacy regulations. Essential Skills Pharmacy degree (PharmD preferred) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required. Active Florida Pharmacist license in good standing. Experience with IV medications and sterile compounding. Knowledge of USP and requirements. Strong attention to detail, organization, and medication safety practices. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in home infusion, specialty pharmacy, hospital, or infusion center environments preferred. Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships. Work Environment The position is 100% onsite in a closed-door infusion pharmacy located in Delray Beach, FL. You will be working as part of a small team with a family-oriented culture. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delray Beach, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
