In this vital role, you will oversee the preparation of non-sterile compounded medications in a 503B outsourcing facility, ensuring all products meet rigorous safety and quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your clinical knowledge and pharmacy skills in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment committed to patient safety and excellence. Duties Directly and actively supervise non-sterile raw material management and compounding operations, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures. Maintain and control the daily compounding schedule. Review batch records, assess completed compounded products for pharmaceutical elegance and adherence to specifications, and release compounded products to production after acceptable review. Manage and monitor raw material inventory, distribution, and use of active and inactive pharmaceutical ingredients. Review incoming raw materials and applicable paperwork per policies and procedures, releasing to raw material inventory after acceptable review. Perform monthly inventory counts and quarantine expired and/or raw materials not in use for disposal. Assist in training incoming compounding laboratory staff on current policies and procedures related to their job description. Support and enforce company policies, practices, and GMPs. Assist in Quality Assurance/Quality Control/R D requests when it applies to the compounding lab. Assist in maintaining controlled documents in the compounding department necessary to ensure accurate control over and accountability for all raw materials and compounded products. D. preferred) Must be a Registered Pharmacist with the Florida Department of Health 1-2 years of experience in non-sterile compounding, sterile compounding, and/or GMP manufacturing (preferred) Ability to stand for several hours Ability to lift up to 35 to 50 lbs. on a regular basis This position requires the ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less, with or without corrective lenses. The position also requires the ability to distinguish between colors; the candidate must not be color blind.
