Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a Pharmacist to work in an outpatient infusion center, providing expert pharmaceutical care primarily to oncology patients. The role emphasizes patient safety and effective medication management, particularly involving chemotherapy and oncology treatments. Ideal candidates will have experience in oncology pharmacology and be comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

Haines City, FL Schedule/Hours:
Monday through Friday Day shifts
Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and dispense medications accurately in an outpatient infusion setting Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize treatment plans for oncology patients Monitor patient responses and manage potential adverse effects related to chemotherapy drugs Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and pharmacy best practices Provide education and counseling to patients regarding their medication therapies
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist with active state licensure Experience in outpatient infusion pharmacy, especially with oncology/chemotherapy medications, is highly preferred Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations and safety protocols related to complex drug regimens Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients and multidisciplinary teams Ability to manage workflow efficiently in a dynamic clinical environment This position offers a 13-week contract with potential for temp-to-hire transition and an ASAP start date.
