Job Description

Experteer Overview In this role you will provide clinical pediatric pharmacy support and subject-matter expertise to improve medication-related outcomes. You will contribute to pediatric care strategy and work with health-plan leadership and care managers to optimize regimens. You will analyze medication profiles, promote evidence-based prescribing, and support care coordination. This position offers the chance to influence pediatric pharmacotherapy at scale while ensuring safety and cost-effectiveness.
Compensation / Benefits
  • Support clinical pediatric rounds with record reviews and communications to leadership and nurse case managers
  • Review referrals and apply evidence-based guidelines to optimize member regimens
  • Analyze medication lists for safety issues and suboptimal regimens in rounds and referrals
  • Promote evidence-based prescribing through profiling, reviews, protocols, and case interventions
  • Conduct training on self-serve pharmacy resources and articulate policies to staff and providers
  • Research, develop, and implement drug utilization and disease-state management strategies
  • Assist in coordinating care for pharmacy-related issues with nurse case managers
  • Serve as a pediatric drug information resource for pharmacy staff and health-plan leadership
  • Review internal or PBM reports to track drug utilization trends and identify issues
  • Collaborate with data managers and care managers on member-centered teams
  • Assist leadership in updating policies to meet state/federal regulations Tasks
  • PharmD with Florida license active and unrestricted
  • Clinical pharmacology and disease management expertise in pediatrics
  • Strong clinical pharmacy skills in pediatric populations
  • Ability to present information concisely to diverse audiences
  • Experience delivering training to staff and internal customers
  • Proficiency in data compilation, reporting, and presentation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel)
