Full Job Description Job Summary:
  • Compounding Experience Preferred
  • We are looking to hire a part-time phamracist to work PRN as a regular member of our team.
Expectations to work 2-3 days a week and at least 1 Saturday a month.
Business Hours:
M-Th 9AM to 6PM F 9AM to 3PM We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our team. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient care, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Your expertise in patient assessment, medical terminology, and pain management will be crucial in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care.
Duties:
  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
  • Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
  • Provide medication counseling to patients regarding proper use, side effects, and interactions
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans
  • Monitor patients' medication therapy for effectiveness and safety
  • Conduct medication therapy management interventions
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.
D.) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Current state pharmacist license in good standing
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
