Clinical Pharmacist Compensation:
$140,000 annually + on-call compensation
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00

Miramar, FL Employment Type:
Full-time, Onsite Summary Our client is seeking two Clinical Pharmacists to join their growing pharmacy team in an onsite capacity in Miramar, FL. These positions are responsible for pharmaceutical care, dispensing, and clinical monitoring for homebound and facility-based patients receiving intravenous infusion, specialty, and injectable medications. The ideal candidate will have recent home infusion experience and a strong understanding of IV compounding, clinical pharmacy practices, and patient care coordination. Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately process orders for infusion systems, IV supplies, and specialty therapies
  • Compound and dispense therapies including IV antibiotics, parenteral nutrition, hydration, chemotherapy, pain management, injectables, and specialty medications
  • Monitor patient therapies and recommend medication modifications as needed
  • Maintain pharmacy care plans and discharge summaries based on patient-specific monitoring data
  • Communicate patient information across home care and healthcare settings
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and pharmacy policy development
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, USP , HIPAA, and accreditation standards
  • Collaborate with providers, patients, pharmacy technicians, and internal staff in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist with pharmacy operations, inventory control, and audit readiness
  • Participate in on-call rotation and additional pharmacy support responsibilities as assigned Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Active Florida Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience home infusion setting
  • Proficiency in aseptic technique and intravenous solution compounding per USP
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to fulfill on-call obligations and Saturday rotation requirements
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus
