POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Part-Time Research Pharmacist to provide coverage for study visits, staff absences, or peak study periods at our clinical research sites in Orlando, FL and with occasional travel to The Villages, FL. This position may require on- site presence during specific patient dosing visits. The Research Pharmacist must be available for training and regulatory compliance updates as required. The Research Pharmacist is responsible for coordinating, collaborating, and providing expertise in support of clinical investigational drug trials. The Research Pharmacist oversees all pharmacy operations to ensure that all drugs are logged, tracked, and dispensed accurately and appropriately and guarantees ongoing compliance with all FDA and DEA regulations in clinical research studies including study specific Sponsor requirements and company SOP's.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for accurate preparation, dispensing, and inventory management of investigational medications or biologics. Responsible for reconciliation, stock and storage monitoring, product return and/or destruction. Responsible for the maintenance of accurate investigational drug records, including documentation of ordering and receipt of drug, drug inventory, and maintenance. Participate in the reporting of unanticipated problems, adverse events, and clinical protocol deviations. Effectively maintains communication with study sponsors, clinical staff, and study monitors on approved investigational drug and biologic studies. Performs any applicable quality assurance audits and participates in applicable inspections, site visits, and surveys. Ensures compliance with all applicable governmental and sponsor regulations, laws, and policies. Maintain all pharmacy equipment, schedule equipment calibrations, and ensure all equipment stays within specified ranges for temperature and humidity. Work collaboratively with the research team (PI, CRC, compliance, regulatory, and nursing team). Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience Minimum of a bachelor's degree in pharmacy required, Pharm. D preferred. Valid Florida pharmacist license is required. Minimum three (3) years of experience in a pharmacy setting required clinical exposure preferred.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times, may be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
