Submit your application for the opportunity below: Pharmacy Resident Job Summary and Qualifications The residency program is reviewed and accredited by the American Society for Health-Systems Pharmacists. The program has specific requirements for participation by the hospital and the residents. HCA residents will meet all ASHP qualifications. The resident will be a graduate pharmacist either licensed or eligible for licensure shortly after hiring. The resident will staff an average of 8 hours per week after licensure. The resident will be expected to complete medication use evaluations, P&T monographs and newsletter articles at the request of the DOP or resident director. The resident will assist in precepting undergraduate pharmacy students. The resident will present a project at the Florida Residency Conference. The resident will work in the Medication Management Clinic along with HCA staff pharmacists. The resident will be BLS and ACLS certified and may also be certified in other post-graduate areas such as diabetes education, immunization, and anticoagulation monitoring. The resident will attend professional meetings during his/her residency. The resident will be encouraged to sit for the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties Board Certification (BCBPS).What qualifications you will need:
